The useful bit: A precise-looking result is still conditional on its model. Start with units, test a simple case and inspect what has been excluded.
Check the units first
Many calculation mistakes begin before the formula. An annual rate is not a monthly rate. A tenure in years is not a tenure in months. Kilometres per litre is not litres per 100 kilometres. A value can look reasonable while representing the wrong quantity.
Every CalculateKro tool labels its inputs and shows its formula. When moving a number between tools, carry the unit and the meaning with it. If a result is before tax, do not silently treat it as after tax in the next step.
Try a case you can solve yourself
Simple boundary cases catch surprising errors. Zero interest should not produce interest. Zero discount should not change a price. A date compared with itself should be zero elapsed days, or one inclusive calendar day. Reversing a unit conversion should approximately recover the original input.
The site validates unsupported and undefined cases rather than replacing them with a believable-looking zero. For example, a percentage with a zero denominator has no finite result.
Understand rounding and uncertainty
Displayed values are usually rounded to two decimal places; the underlying calculations retain more precision. A lender, invoice or provider may round at every intermediate step instead. Small differences can follow even when the broad formula is the same.
Rounding is different from uncertainty. A ten-year investment assumption is uncertain even if the formula returns an exact number of paise. Showing more decimals does not make the assumed future return more likely.
Keep records without exposing private inputs
You can copy or export a result for your own use. The calculator code creates exports locally and does not upload your input values. Saved-tool buttons remember only which tool you bookmarked, not the values you entered.
When reporting an error, send the tool name, non-sensitive example inputs, the expected result and the actual output. Do not send account numbers, passwords, medical records or identity documents. A clear reproducible example is more useful than private information.
