What this calculation tells you
This trip estimator separates fuel quantity from fuel cost. It uses kilometres per litre, not litres per 100 kilometres. A higher km/l figure means less fuel is required for the same journey.
Enter the full distance you intend to travel. For a return journey, include both directions and any extra driving. The fuel price is supplied by you; it is not a live station price. Traffic, air conditioning, load and terrain can change real consumption.
The method, explained
Fuel needed = distance ÷ mileage Trip cost = fuel needed × fuel price + extras
The inputs use the units printed beside each field. Values shown in result cards are rounded for readability; the calculator keeps more precision while applying the formula.
A worked example
Trip distance: 500 km · Vehicle mileage: 18 km/l · Fuel price: 105 ₹/l · Tolls, parking & other costs: ₹500.00.
Estimated trip cost: ₹3,416.67

Assumptions & limitations
- Mileage and fuel price remain constant for the journey.
- The calculation covers liquid fuel in litres, not an EV charging model.
